Cheddar Hockey Club has been running for over 60 years now. We are a friendly local club that caters for all levels of skill and ability. We currently have 3 ladies teams (for ages 13+) and new for the 2025-26 season, a Men's development team. We provide popular junior sessions (for year 6 onwards), which are a great gateway into the adult game.
For the 2025/26 season, we are in the following leagues... Our Ladies 1st are in West Women's Division 2 Central, 2nd team are in West Women’s Wessex Division 1 and our 3rd team are in West Women’s Wessex Division 2. Our Men's team is joining the West Men's Concorde Division 3 league.
We welcome players from age 13 upwards - there is definitely no upper age limit! Lots of ladies and gentlemen have joined us who haven't picked up a hockey stick since their school days.
Please get in touch if you are interested in joining us, or simply come along to one of our training sessions (Ladies - Mondays 7pm, Men - Fridays 8pm; Kings Fitness & Leisure in Cheddar).
Get in touch about junior sessions for year 6 onwards. They are a great gateway into our adult teams, and are held in 8 week blocks directly prior to the adult training on Monday nights. £30* total for all 8 sessions! Advanced booking required to attend.
